Sigo is a series of recorders created through a collaboration between Kunath Instrumentenbau and Geri Bollinger, a prominent recorder maker in Europe, which combines innovative design with exceptional playability.
The tenor model 5405-072 features a grip width similar to that of a soprano (descant) recorder. Its angled headjoint and integrated thumb rest enhance ergonomics, making it particularly comfortable to play.
The body is constructed from RESONA, a sustainable material developed by Kunath Instrumentenbau, while the headjoint is made from plant-based resins.
Despite its shorter length compared to a standard tenor recorder, the folded scale of the Sigo allows it to produce a deep sound.
Additionally, the matte finish of the lower body and the integrated thumb rest contribute to an exceptionally enjoyable playing experience.
